2023 Impact Report
A message from our Co-Chairs
Looking ahead, we are encouraged by the enthusiasm of our chapter as members continue to spread the word about the giving circle concept and what we can collectively achieve. We remain committed to supporting grassroots charities, providing a simple and straightforward but impactful approach to philanthropy, and building bridges for member interactions within the community.
Thank you for believing in our vision and for supporting our work. We are honoured to lead the 100 Women Who Care Hamilton-Wentworth and excited about what we can accomplish together.

December, 2023
Reflecting on 2023, we extend heartfelt gratitude to each member of 100 Women Who Care, our community partners and our sponsors. In the backdrop of an economic downturn, increased food insecurity, increased homelessness and heightened needs in the community, our membership has grown substantially. More local charities than ever were highlighted by our members, building awareness and creating ripple effects through our collective donations and community outreach.
Our Impact in 2023
Our membership grew substantially in the last year, with over a third of our member base having joined in 2023. We closed the year with a total of 160 members.
We closed the year with a total of 160 members, prompting us to update our logo to highlight our impressive “100 PLUS” membership.
The growth in enrollments was reflected in the growth of donations. At our final event of the year in October 2023, we collectively gave over $13,000 to charity.
Thanks to the generosity of our members and sponsors, we began amassing donations for our runner-up charities, totalling nearly $11,800 over the year.
In total, our giving circle made a collective impact of nearly $60,000, all of which went directly toward many worthy causes in our local community.
