Your charity has been selected to present.

Now what?

As a member, you have the option to present on behalf of your charity, or a representative from the charity can do the presentation. In either case, we ask that presenters follow the guidelines below:

  • To ensure we share time equitably, kindly limit your presentation to 5 minutes, and allow for a 5-minute Q&A.

  • Visual aids are encouraged. We will send an email to request the charity’s logo and a PowerPoint slide that will be shown while you are presenting.

  • If you opt to include a video, it will be on the same slide as any text information you have. Videos are limited to 30 seconds in length and should not have sound (you may speak while the visuals play on screen).

  • Be sure to include the following information during your presentation:

  • Name of the charity

  • Location of the charity

  • Charity’s mission statement

  • How the charity would benefit from receiving the donation

  • How the donation funds will be used

  • Other sources of funding currently available to the charity

  • Your personal connection with the organization or how you learned about it
