Back in 2017, Meaghan Hoernke was the organizer for 100 Women Hamilton-Wentworth, and she was also my daughter’s life coach. She invited us to our first meeting. As a born-and-raised Hamiltonian, I was thrilled with the possibility of giving back to the community. The whole concept of listening to the different charities that need help was eye opening. Ever since then, I have been a member.

I first heard about 100 Women through my work at Niwasa Kendaaswin Teg. Our organization was nominated in 2022 and was a successful candidate.I was invited to a 100 Women gathering after our success, as a guest. Seeing the collective impact that 100 Women has is amazing - I immediately signed up that night and haven't looked back since! Being part of a group of like-minded women who have a passion for supporting people and making a difference in our city is so inspirational and I am proud to be a member.
